Rajasthan and the 8th Pay Commission

The 8th Central Pay Commission, constituted on 3 November 2025, covers Central Government employees. Rajasthan revises its employees' pay through its own rules, usually after the central revision, so the 8th CPC does not change Rajasthan pay directly. About the Calculator

How to Use This Rajasthan Salary Calculator

  1. Choose your pay matrix level (L-1 to L-24) and cell; your pay slip shows both.
  2. Check DA (60%) and choose the HRA class of your place of posting.
  3. Choose GPF or NPS, and whether SI, RGHS and income tax apply.
  4. Add any other allowances or deductions, and read the net in-hand pay.

How the Figures Are Worked Out

Cells are rebuilt from each level's first cell at 3% steps rounded to ₹100, which reproduces the last cell of every level in the official matrix. DA and HRA are percentages of basic pay, rounded to the rupee. GPF, SI and RGHS follow the slabs above by basic pay; NPS is 10% of basic + DA. Income tax is a new-regime estimate for tax year 2026-27.

Assumptions and Limitations

  • For regular Rajasthan State Government employees; probation trainees on fixed remuneration are not covered.
  • GPF is the minimum subscription; you may contribute more.
  • Special allowances for particular posts are not included; add them under other allowances.
  • Your pay slip decides the actual figures.
