Hiring Requirement Post Format for Recruiters
Requirements in this format get faster, better-matched referrals. Copy it, fill it in, and post it in Talent Acquisition Network:
📌 Requirement: Senior Recruiter (IT) 🏢 Company / Client: [Name, or "MNC – client confidential"] 📍 Location: [City] | Mode: [Office / Hybrid / Remote] 🎓 Experience: [3–6 years] | Notice: [Immediate – 30 days] 💰 Budget: [Range, or "As per market"] 🛠️ Must-have skills: [End-to-end IT hiring, Naukri & LinkedIn sourcing] ✅ Share profiles at: [Official email or apply link] 🤝 Referral / vendor: [Open / Not open]
Sharing Candidate Data the Right Way
Recruiters handle a lot of personal data — names, phone numbers, salaries and CVs. In a WhatsApp group, every member can see what you post and every member's phone number, so treat the group as a public space.
- Never post a candidate's CV, phone number or salary in a group. Share profiles one-to-one, by official email, and only with the candidate's consent.
- Share only what's needed. When asking for a referral, describe the role — don't name or describe current candidates.
- Follow your company's data policy. India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 sets rules for how personal data, including candidate data, is collected and shared.
- Don't add people to groups without asking. Send the invite link and let them choose to join.
How to Use WhatsApp for Recruitment (Without Annoying Candidates)
- Use a work number. Set up WhatsApp Business on a company number with your name, company, email and website in the profile, so candidates can verify you.
- Introduce yourself in the first message. Name, company, the role and where you found their profile — candidates are rightly wary of anonymous "HR" messages.
- Ask before you call. A short "Is now a good time for a 5-minute call?" gets more replies than a cold call.
- Use groups for networking, not candidates. Keep candidates in one-to-one chats. A broadcast list sends updates without exposing everyone's number to each other.
- Move the formal steps to email. Send interview invites, offer letters and documents by official email so there's a clear record.
- Respect working hours and never ask a candidate for money, OTPs or bank details.

Start with Talent Acquisition Network for requirements, referrals and sourcing tips. Add HR Professionals India or My HR Contacts to grow your wider HR network.
Can I post hiring requirements in these groups?
Yes, for free. Use the requirement format above and include an official email or apply link. To reach candidates directly, also post in the HR jobs WhatsApp groups.
Can recruitment consultants and agencies join?
Yes. Agency recruiters and consultants are welcome, as long as they follow the group rules — no fee requests to candidates and no promotional spam.
Can I share candidate CVs in the group?
No. Every member can see what is posted in a group. Share CVs only one-to-one by official email, and only with the candidate's consent.
Is there a WhatsApp group for IT recruiters?
IT and non-IT recruiters both use Talent Acquisition Network. Mention "IT" in your requirement title so the right recruiters see it.
Can other members see my phone number?
Yes. In a WhatsApp group, members can see each other's numbers. If you only want updates, follow the HR Calcy WhatsApp channel, where followers' numbers stay private.
The group link isn't working. What should I do?
The group may be full (a WhatsApp group holds up to 1,024 members) or the link may have been reset to stop spam. Refresh this page, or see all groups on the HR WhatsApp group links page.
